Far Away is a lazy electro-psychedelic journey. Trading synthesizers and drum machines for mellow guitars and human percussion (James O’Neill, The Eclipse), Rees strays from his usual process.

Airy vocals float above a modulating soundscape, ruminating on the pursuit of a meaningful life. A shift in tone brings the comforting refrain, ‘…Far away you see more clearly, all the things that you fear won’t really matter anymore…’ leading to the calm awareness of a new perspective.
